Imperial Moto Café
About This Spot
Arriving at Imperial Moto Café, you’re immediately drawn into a world where slow mornings and thoughtful sips intertwine with a distinct vintage automotive spirit. This tucked-away gem in Miami’s NW 2nd Avenue neighborhood invites visitors to settle into a quietly curated space where every detail—from the subtle jazz melodies to the carefully chosen motorcycle memorabilia—feels like a personal discovery rather than a curated show.
The café’s mood is unhurried and intimate, shaped by the hum of espresso machines and the tranquil chatter of familiar faces. Here, the pace yields to comfort, inviting you to linger over conversations, a well-crafted pour-over, or a coconut milk flat white whose richness complements the calm energy of the room. The front patio, a sunlit sanctuary amidst the city’s rhythm, offers a peaceful retreat perfect for people-watching or simply being present.
Imperial Moto Café’s menu reflects an affection for balance and refreshment, where vibrant smoothies and thoughtfully prepared pastries feel less like items on a list and more like part of a shared ritual. Whether it’s the gentle bitterness of a perfectly brewed matcha latte or the nuanced layers of a freshly baked pistachio croissant, each bite and sip echoes the ethos of the place—authentic, unpretentious, and attentive to the details that matter.
The atmosphere fosters a quiet celebration of community and individuality without the clamor of trendiness or corporate polish. It’s a spot favored by locals who appreciate its calm, the subtle hum of jazz, and the stories embedded in its vintage decor. For those intrigued by motorcycles or simply seeking a space that feels both comfortably familiar and quietly unique, Imperial Moto Café offers more than just coffee—it offers a moment to pause and savor a slower, more considered side of Miami life.

We'd heard so much about this cool coffee spot with a vintage automotive vibe, we had to go check it out. It definitely lives up to the hype, serving amazing coffee and good vibes too. If you are lucky enough to snag a Cali burrito or tacos from the weekend pop up, you are in for a real treat!

Nice cafe. Low-key. As it should be. Quiet. Good ambient. Fantastic bike decor. This are the types of local and custom cafés that are all worth it. Nothing unnecessary fancy or corporate. Quite the opposite. Nice jazz music playing to keep the atmosphere chilled and smooth.

Very Nice food truck, good smash, not my favorite fries but it’s ok

I love this spot and wish I could visit more often. Unfortunately, this place embodies the café experience that Miami seems to be moving away from. It is locally focused, uniquely elegant, and truly delightful for relaxation. The coffee is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the café treats perfectly complement the atmosphere.

This was on our list of places to check out for a while, so we were excited to finally have the chance to go. Imperial moto is a neat and interesting cafe, especially for motorcycle and car enthusiasts. There's something neat to discover in every nook and cranny. They also sell themed merchandise, and motorcycles are on display. The patio out front is a peaceful oasis, and theres plenty of vehicle related magazines to enjoy. The menu is a little on the small side, but we found a few options. The salmon toast was tasty and well balanced. The letdown was the coffee. We ordered 3 coffee drinks. 2 were the worst coffee we've ever had, and one was slightly better. It's a neat cafe, but I can't picture going back.

If you like motorcycles and coffee this is your spot. If your wife is into coffee and you are into motorcycles, then you will have 2 nice things to look at. They had breakfast burritos outside when we went. Those were good also.

Great coffee. The atmosphere is fantastic. Service is good. Taco stand outside if you’re hungry. Parking is good. Good people and always fun. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and grab some coffee and good times.

I stopped at Imperial Moto Café for a coffee and really liked the relaxed, laid-back vibe—it felt like a cool spot to hang out, and the coffee was smooth and well made.
